To protect your extension hair and keep them moisturized, apply serum morning and night to your mid lengths and ends. Throughly brush your hair to distribute the product evenly.

Keeping your hair detangled needs to be a priority to protect both your natural hair and your extension hair from matting and damage.

Hold the attachment point of the row tight to your scalp with your non dominate hand. Carefully brush your extensions starting from the ends working your way up to the attachment point of your extensions, but not running your brush over the seam. Vigorous brushing over the attachment point can cause damage to the wefts and your natural hair/scalp.

For a thorough detangling morning and night, sectioning your hair is key to insure you are detangling all of your natural hair between each row and the extensions along with the extension hair.

Before cleansing, always detangle your hair thoroughly.

With extensions you will have twice as much hair, so make sure you rinse twice as much! I suggest only washing your hair 1 - 2 times per week with extension safe shampoo and conditioner recommended and approved by me.

Always cleanse your hair in sections, separating your rows and natural hair for a through cleanse. Using two fingers to run along the top & bottom of your row with cleanser. Avoid vigorous scrubbing and only shampoo your scalp, not your ends.

When conditioning, only apply conditioner from your ears down and around your face framing pieces. Avoid touching conditioner at the scalp as it can cause build up on your wefts and premature oil production at your scalp. Use a detangling brush or a wide tooth comb while conditioning to distribute the conditioner evenly and avoid any tangles.

Use a deep conditioner once weekly to nourish your extensions and natural hair with moisture.

Hard water with high mineral content, which is very common in the rocky mountains, can cause extension hair color fading, extension discoloration, build up and hair dryness. Installing a shower head filter can help prevent hard water complications.

Using a microfiber towel or hair wrap, squeeze excess water out of your hair, do not rub!

Keeping your extensions moisturized and protected from heat is key to longevity. Once excess water is removed, apply leave in conditioner, styling products and serum.

Before drying, make sure each row is completely brushed out and detangled. Insuring your hair is completely dry will help improve the longevity of your extension hair and scalp health. Never blow dry hair upside down as that can cause tangling.

NEVER go to bed with wet hair.

I recommend putting your hair in two loose braids, a high pony (the pineapple), or low pony using a silk/soft scrunchie.

Using a silk pillowcase also protects your hair while you sleep and are much more gentle on your hair than cotton pillowcases.

DO NOT SLEEP ON WET EXTENSIONS as it will cause damage to your natural hair and cause matting and mold.

It is best to avoid swimming while wearing extensions, however if you do, before swimming in a pool, ocean, lake, etc., detangle your hair, wet it down with clean tap water, apply a leave in conditioner, and place your hair in a braid or bubble braids. This will help avoid tangles and possible discoloration from the water.

Shampoo & Condition your hair as soon as possible after getting out of the water.

Beware of sunscreen! SPF containing avobenzone & oxybenzone cause your extensions to become discolored and may turn your hair orange or pink. Most mineral based sunscreens are extension safe.

Avoid spraying sunscreen near your extension hair (also beware of those around you spraying sunscreen). Always wear your hair up, away from your shoulders while wearing sunscreen and completely cleanse your skin with soap before letting your hair back down.
